HOW TO GET PAID FOR PAST VEHICLE PURCHASES:
You may be eligible to receive a payment for EACH new vehicle purchased or leased or qualifying replacement part purchased if you:
If you purchased or leased a new vehicle for your own use, and reside in a qualifying state, you are most likely eligible to receive a payment for each vehicle. Certain new vehicles contain one or more qualifying auto parts, some of which may be manufactured by the defendants. These settlements pertain to antitrust allegations against the defendant auto parts manufacturers and were litigated in a Federal Court. As a qualifying purchaser, you or your company, may be entitled to a cash payment for EACH new vehicle purchased or leased during the 29 year time frame between 1990 and 2019; provided the purchase was made in a qualifying state, and provided the vehicle contains at least one qualifying part. The point of purchase is typically considered the state in which the new vehicle was first registered. You may also qualify to receive a payment if you bought a qualifying vehicle replacement part (not for resale) from someone other than the manufacturer of the part during the 29 year time frame between 1990 and 2019.
The Funds are the result of Settlements which came from litigation in a Federal Court regarding antitrust allegations among the defendant group of auto parts manufacturers. Prices of new cars may have been adversely affected during the time frame of this alleged conspiracy. As a result, individuals and businesses may have paid more for their new vehicles than they normally would have.
Generally, all persons and entities who, between 1990-2019, either (1) bought or leased a qualifying new motor vehicle* in the U.S (not for resale), or (2) bought a qualifying vehicle replacement part (not for resale) from someone other than the manufacturer of the part.
Excluded from the class are defendants; their parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, any co-conspirators, all governmental entities, all persons who purchased their motor vehicle parts directly from the Defendants or for resale.
